Michael: Over editorial, people want to see photos and videos.

Michael: The Citizen Journalism brings people from the ground to participate in the news, by submitting comments, new post, photos or even videos.

Michael: It is easier for a small community to publish a news online and get feedback than trying to be heard from/by the big Medias.

Om: Is Citizen Journalism is the new organized way to do a forum, this is great.

Om: I think user generated media is a bit of a myth. Because 80% has no credibility.

Om (Talking about American Idol): Everybody wants to be famous but not everybody can sing. Democracy is media is that people can read want they want and leave what they consider to be not good. Filtering.

Audience: Good writing will always rise (because of site like Digg, etc.) Blogosphere has a self-organization mechanism and this is a real power of it. The editor quality control is done by the public.

Mike (on Citizen Journalism and Credibility) : People don't see themselves as journalists, but see themselves as news reader and participant.

Om: Why traditional Medias are so scary about the blogosphere : People are able to filter. When they will stop reading? Traditional Media are use to monopoly. And now everybody has a voice... and this is scary.

Om: The scariest part is a butch of nobody can grab all those readers (from the traditional Medias).

(Audience) : What is amazing is that a new sociology is rapidly emerging from the blogosphere. The Web2.0 (the easy and accessible do it yourself tools) enables people to become their own editor. This sociology is really new. What is right, is wrong is tuff to establish.

Om (something I learn from blogging ) : self correcting yourself, be flexible and say sorry when you have to do it.
